Autism is a multi-system disorder that involves abnormalities in immune, gastrointestinal, and metabolic systems including mitochondrial dysfunction, inflammation, oxidative stress, methylation problems, transsulfuration issues, and toxicity. Interventions focused on treating these areas very often lead to neurologic improvement resulting in better behavior. Catherine has been consulting with families since 2009 to design and implement treatment plans that target each patient’s individual needs. Treatment modalities include a combination of dietary changes, nutritional supplementation, detoxification protocols, lab recommendations, and patient education.
Many autoimmune illnesses including Crohns, IBS, Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriasis, Allergies, and Asthma respond to the same treatment modalities. As a result, Catherine’s Cause has expanded to include treatment plans to help guide patients that are afflicted by these health conditions.

New Client Consultation
The initial consultation consists of a thorough workup including gathering a comprehensive history and reviewing previous medical records and laboratory results. An individualized treatment plan will be developed with recommendations for diet, supplements, and additional lab-work if indicated. Catherine believes that patient education is a vital component of a successful treatment plan. She incorporates education into each of her consultations.

Follow Up Consultation
Follow up consultations are provided for adjustment to treatment plans, lab-work review, nutritional supplement recommendations, or general consultation that requires more time than a quick phone call or email response.
30 minutes: $40.00
1 hour: $80.00
If you must cancel an appointment, please call at least 24 hours in advance.
Failure to cancel without 24 hour notice will result in a $50 fee.
Autism Prevention Consultation
Preconception, Prenatal, & Post Pregnancy
Catherine believes autism is preventable. Although the cause of Autism remains controversial, the prevailing thinking is that it is caused by a genetic predisposition and an assault on the immune system either during gestation or after birth. During this consultation a treatment plan will be developed to remove toxins from your body and environment, replenish and restore your body’s key nutrients, strengthen your immune system, reduce inflammation, and provide education for a healthy happy pregnancy and beyond.
